Lisa - Matron of Honor - Sister of the Bride
Lisa currently lives in Oviedo, Fl with her husband, Scott,
and daughter, Julia Grace. The oldest of the "Gasca Girls," Lisa
has spent most of her life being the responsible older sister. "E",
as the family calls her, loves "General Hospital," shimmer, and
being right all the time. Lisa has been an invaluable part of the wedding
planning process and was instrumental in helping her sister find THE DRESS!
Kacey- Bridesmaid
Jocelyn "Kacey" has been friends with the
bride since elementary school in Pensacola, Fl where they were in the school
choir together. In 1982, Kacey's father was stationed overseas and the family
moved to Germany. They eventually ended up returning
to Pensacola
in 1990. Kristina and Kacey rekindled their friendship during the long hours
of 2nd
period (Lit Mag) and 4th period (English) at Escambia High. After Escambia,
the two went on to University of West Florida where they again shared a love
of English Literature, Intro to Religion and Klub Kaos.
They spent more than a few hours on the Seville dance floor -- which also
happened
to
be
where
Kacey
met the
love
of her
life
and husband,
John. The two relocated from Pensacola to Raleigh in the past year and
are adjusting to life without the beach.
Elaine - Bridesmaid
Elaine McKenna is the proud mother of Marlena Elise and the two newest
editions, Presley Jack and Harper Lily. She has been happily married to her
husband, Jeff, for the past 10 years. Elaine and Kristina met in high school
through their mutual friend, Kacey. After high school, Elaine and Kristina
became permanent fixtures in the Pensacola Handlebar and Sluggos scene for
many years. There is even footage of them performing with the band Woodenhorse
in front of a large crowd -- complete with tambourine and maracas. Elaine
met her husband, a bartender at the Handlebar, when she was considering moving
the California and heard he may also have the same idea. The rest, as they
say, was history. The two spent seven years in San Diego, CA before
deciding to move a little closer to home and settle in Raleigh.
Angela - Jr Bridesmaid -- Cousin of the Bride
Angela Marin, the youngest sister to Selina and
Carly, better known as "the munch". Soon to be seventeen, she has
been home schooled since the second grade, she is the last daughter of Aunt
Birdie to soon "run away" like the other two sisters. Could it
be from homeschoolers, Mom, Bayside Texas, David's Bridal, or maybe all of
the above? Look for her not on a billboard or in Scandinavia, but in some
airport with Bible and guitar in route. Angela never complains but makes
facial expressions; it's the nose cringe with a deep sigh, but she doesn't
say no. She is the most giving and the most loving and she knows how to sweep!
She is the only one that can go in and out of David's Bridal in less than
20minutes with trying and buying the dress all in one time. Last to say -
she loves her cousins and sisters, but will move away to Oregon if babyshowers
start to occur.

Megan - Jr Bridesmaid -- Niece of the Groom
My first memory of my little sister Megan
was asking my parents, “Can we take her back now?” I was two
when she was born and was used to having all of the attention. My parents
told me that we could not take her back to the hospital, and that she was
my new baby sister. While I did try to slingshot her into the back of the
couch in the baby sling, I have grown to love her through the years. Megan
was the trouble maker growing up and always seemed to find herself in “time
out.” She is also the “sporty” one. She gave ballet a try
for a year, and quit because it was “too boring.” She relishes
fast-paced activities, yet can sit in front of the television for hours,
and be fully entertained. Megan has played softball since she was about ten
years old and has grown to love the sport. She pitches (with a vengeance),
and plays shortstop as well as second base. While she is not planning on
playing in college, I am sure that she will stay active through intramural
and club sports. Megan is planning on going to school for occupational or physical
therapy. She is currently in the midst of deciding where to go, as she has
impressively
been accepted to all five schools that she has applied to. Megan has always
wanted to be in a wedding, and was thrilled when our uncle and Kristina asked
her to be a junior bridesmaid.
