Steve Gasca
Father of the Bride
Steve Gasca, proud father of the bride,
is a longtime resident of Pensacola, Florida. He retired from the United
States Navy in 1987 after 15 years of submarine service and 5 years of teaching
electronics to young midshipmen. Now employed by GE, he has spent the golden
years of his retirement traveling all over
the southern states in company minivans and Ford Tauruses, selling and repairing
high-valued medical equipment. Mr. Gasca is best known throughout the Gasca
family for his singing ability; particularly his version of the Baha Men
hit "Who Let the Dogs Out?” He
also brings smiles to faces with this extreme dislike for wearing socks and
his aversion to haircuts.

Lillian Gasca
Aunt of the Bride
Aunt Lillian "Birdie" Gasca
makes the trip from Bayside, Texas. She is the proud and devoted mother to
the bride's cousins Selina "Nana”, Carly "Danish Brownie",
and Angela “Anga-min or Munch." The origin of Birdie's nickname
has long been lost in translation although many in the family wonder how
it came about anyway, since PAJARO (Spanish name for bird) sounds nothing
like LILLIE. Perhaps it is to do with her affinity for flying. (ed note:
I thought it was because she used to eat like a bird) There is, however,
no disputing the fact that Birdie is the best cook in the Gasca clan. She is
the source for many secret family recipes and the
inspiration for the cooking ability in ALL three of her daughters! Birdie
spends her quality time at home caring for her animals, especially her 27
housecats. We all look forward to seeing her out on that dance floor on June
14th!

Selina Jordan Zodda
Cousin of the Bride
Selina “Nana” Jordan-Zodda has made some
great decisions in life. One was choosing Florida State University over the
U of F. Another was chasing down Jennifer Lopez at Super Bowl XXXV. But her
greatest decision was to marry some Navy guy with a very heavy New York Italian
accent. Selina now resides in the Washington, DC area while working as a model
for a well-known university. No really! She also enjoys time at home with
her
designer dog, a Chihuahua named Tia, and two fat cats. Anyone who would like
to challenge her on the dance floor should speak with the bride.
