Carly - cousin of the bride
Carmelita Anne, aka Charles, used to be a typical American college student, enjoying time spent with friends studying calculus problems, cooking ramen noodles in the microwave, and rooting for the “WAR” Hawks of Lehigh University on Family Weekend. These days, however, Carly has become much more than that. She is now a full-fledged, uppity-European transfer student who enjoys reading vampire novels while eating brownies in Danish coffee shops. But despite her choice to run away from home, everyone knows Carly is the responsible girl in the family. She is completing her junior year at Lehigh University majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience, and minoring in scarf-collecting. Her sisters and cousins are counting the days and hours until we get to see her return to the States!

Elissa - niece of the groom
Elissa Marie, born April 27th 1989, is my big sister. She really is hard to put on paper because there is just so much I could say about her. She is a kind, compassionate, hard working, smart, beautiful person who I love dearly. I really look up to her and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her.Elissa has a great passion for dance. She has been dancing since she was four years old and has continued to do so into her college years. She started out at the Dance Studio and danced there for fourteen long, hard working years. In college she is part of a dance group called “Terps,” in which students choreograph and basically run the show. This year she tried out for kick line and made it. They perform at the basketball and lacrosse games during half time. Speaking of college, Elissa attends SUNY Oneonta with a major in dietetics. She plans to go into neo natal dietetics upon graduation. Overall my sister is an amazing person who can get along with just about anyone. She is a smart girl who seems to know what she wants in life, and I couldn’t be happier to be her little sister.
